About This Event
This full-day teacher training, organised in partnership with Unity College, addresses four interconnected dimensions of effective classroom practice. Participants will explore how to establish calm authority through voice, positioning, and routine; how to understand the cognitive and emotional factors behind student behaviour; how to cultivate habits of respect, cooperation, and responsibility through classroom culture; and how to manage mixed-level groups using adaptable strategies such as expandable tasks, tiered questioning, and support–challenge design. The training is practical, participatory, and designed for educators working in diverse and multilingual settings.
